The Village of Muenster is seeking a **full-time Public Works Foreman** to lead and support essential municipal services. This is a hands-on leadership role offering **stable hours, strong benefits, and meaningful work** in a welcoming, family-oriented community.

Position Details

Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

(Occasional seasonal or emergency call-outs may apply)*

Wage: Starting at $30.00/hour

Benefits: Competitive municipal benefits package

Start Date: As soon as possible

Core Responsibilities

• Cooperate with the Certified Water/Lagoon Operator

• Facilitate sanitation services

• Road, infrastructure, and facility maintenance

• Greenspace maintenance (mowing, weed control)

• Communication with contractors

• Operate and maintain equipment *(grader training available)*

• Coordinate daily work schedules and priorities

• Ensure safe, efficient service delivery

• Supervise and work alongside Summer Students

• Respond to public inquiries and service requests

• Record keeping and procedure documentation.

• Work within budget

Qualifications

* Grade 12 Diploma (or equivalent)

* Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

* Criminal Record Check (required)

Assets (training provided if needed):

* First Aid / CPR / WHMIS

* Confined Space Entry / Ground Disturbance

* Equipment operation experience
